All,

OK. I've got Emacs (Darwin Ports) and Auctex 11.53 set up. Currently,
it asks for xpdf when I am in pdf mode and I ask to view. I'd like to
change that to the Acrobat Reader 7.0 that I have on my Imac.

How do I do this?

So how were you managing to get this done? What was the problem
actually? Just in case that this crops up again?

How do I do this?
M-x customize-variable RET TeX-output-view-style RET

Then change the entry calling xpdf, and save the setting.

I would like to know as well, I have heard the rumours about it, but
couldn't find it on the adobe's webpage.

if it Acrobat 7 you're refering to, it's currently only out in non-public beta

It would appear that Uwe Brauer is referring to that. But I was
asking David how he got the directory problem solved that he has
posted several problem reports about. It appeared like he was doing
something wrong that was easy to do wrong, and I would like to know
what it was and how he fixed it, in case somebody else asks about the
same problem.
